Ahh, what a month.

So anyways, the first month of 2004 has offically sucked in my book. It started going good, when I decided to upgrade to a new motor, and a 5th gen to put it in. So I finally find a buyer for my 4th gen, when my wife hits black ice, and flips her mustang.

Now, the mustang was supposed to be the "in between" car, while I was building her CRX up, or I was working on my car etc. So, that put me in a bind. The kid already paid for my car, leaving me with just her CRX between the both of us. So, I lined up a 5th gen Si the following sat, thinking we could get by until we found another third car. Well, that girl I was supposed to buy it from, flaked on me. So, neededing another car ASAP, I finally tracked down a 5th gen Si in SoCal.

So, I get this car out here, and it needs a little bit of fixin before it gets my approval. No problem. But that leaves us with a hatch, and a crx. Well, thats kind of tough with a 3 person family. You cant really have the little one riding in a crx. So, I was then in search of a "family car" for my wife to drive.
Well, the shop I manage here, is also a licensed dealer. So we attend the local auctions here, looking for cars. I find a 4 door GSR, for dirt cheap. Bid on it, win it. Well, the title has been suspended for a unkown amount of time, due to a lein holder not being aking care of, a few years ago. Bummer. So I look onward for something else. Well, we finally found a 95' Toyota 4 runner, in awsome shape. My wife finally decides, maybe its time to put the imports away for awhile. So, we look into picking it up, and find we are $2k short on buying it. Myself, I hate getting a car on credit, and would rather pay for it up front. So, we decide to sell her CRX for $1800, to get the rest of the money, since we need a "family" car ASAP.
Well, tonight I had a kid come in, and want to buy the car. So it looks like that is sold, and I am not going to be a 4th gen owner for much longer. :( I would rather have sold the crx to someone on here, but you guys all have your cars. :) Because the bad thing is, this kid is a ricer.. :banghead: Oh well, ricer money is as good as any right?
But anyways, thats my little story for the night. :)

...and to make matters worse you've had me bugging you about interior stuff
Seriously though, that looked like a nasty accident with the 'Stang. I'm glad your wife is ok.

Just having an accident a couple of months ago...I feel for you...and I'm glad your wife is ok...
Just a quick question...why do you need three cars??
Just some suggestions...Don't ditch the CRX, you'll severely regret it ( I think you do already)...look for a 4g four door for your family car...Don't ditch the CRX, you'll severely regret it ( I think you do already)...there has to be another option, like biding your time as long as you can...Don't ditch the CRX, you'll severely regret it ( I think you do already) :D

Why not have three cars? What happens if I blow my motor, or she blows hers? We would need a backup car. I cant afford to chevroleg it in a situation like that.
My wife really does not like the 4th gen sedans. She is not a fan of the hatchs either. But she does like the crx.
I dont want to get rid of the rex, but priorities first.
Also, on a good note. We are moving shop locations, to a huge building, six bays, plenty of stoarage, and have our first shipment of front clips, and motors scheduled for next week.
Yeah russ, I feel like a total shitbag with your stuff. Sorry..

Like I told you before, it's all good. I understand you have a lot goin' on right now so I'm not worried about the stuff. The Civic is tucked away in the garage for at least another 2 months so there's no rush

kris, I want your garage! :bigthumb: look at all those air dams on the wall!
Sorry, decided to interject. I don't belong in here, my Civic is a 97' 4-door, but whatever. Mugen/Honda pride, right?

I was beginning to wonder where youve been lately Kris. Glad to hear your wife is alright though. Have you gotten the ATR engine in your car yet? Good luck on that if its not already done.
