Some stupid guy thinks....

This kid just got his Nissan Pulsar (POS). he thinks he can beat my 1986 VW jetta. I have a Schrick cam and bro speed exhuast. What do you guys think. Car is stock except for a POS muffler he got brand new for like 50 bucks.

What year is his car and what engine does he have? You might be in for a surprise...

I think it's an 88 or 90. The engine is totaly stock. It's a 4 cylinder. The car is slow. I raced him in my 93 S-10 blazer. I beat him in that. But that's a 6 banger so who knows.

Oh yea it's an automatic because he couldn't learn a stick he said it was too hard. "All the shifting!"

Well, as much as I like Nissan, if it's an automatic and with a stock GA16 (1.6l engine) then you're on the safe side :)

The little GTi 1600 DOC is not a screamer by any stretch of the imagination. I would say your jetta would do quite well. That pulsar is more of a shopping trolly then a go car.

I think your car would be faster. If he can't slam a pedal move...no guide... a stick into it's place and get back on slammin' the gas he probably it's a 'cool fast driver.' :) lol Although some automatics are awesome, sporty drivers should atleast know how to work a manual trasmission.

There is no hope for him I think. I need to get my speedo fixed so I can tell how fast I'm goin. I think on Monday I'll race him. I have the day off work and I can find him then. The only problem is that I have a hose leak in my coolin system. I have the parts on a truck comin to my house within 8 days. I don't want to get the thing screamin before I reaplace that stuff. So maybe I won't. I think his engine is smaller than a 1.6. I think that the next time I see him I'll try to start shit and piss him off. Oh and I think I'll be able to out shift a pussy that afraid of driven a manual because it's too hard. Dub for life!!!

The site had my car at 17.8 for a 1/4 mile. I know my car does it faster. it had this guys car at 18.8. What do you think?

take a stopwach in your car and try timing it yourself.....but i think 17.8 is about right, your car might feel faster but you never know.

Well those are stock numbers right. I do have a cam in the car. So that's probly shave some time off.

also depends on mileage, if yoru over 150k, dont expect to be doing those times and even cams alone cant hell too much at that point.

Umm I don't know about OC but you say you've gotten tickets. There is probly more cops there that look for speeding. Heres you get seen doin it and they don't really care.They give you 10 to 15 MPH over before they pull you over. They right your tickets for less than what you're doin too. I was doin like 55 or 60 in a 30 and they wrote it for 40. I got it dropped too. They don't give a rats A$$.

There are a lot of po pos here but they're really really leanant. Especialy because I got clocked at about 60 in a 30 and the ticket said 41. Tha'ts pretty tight.

I was driving the maxima and its not modified or anything. I went thourgh an intersection doing 10 over and swirved though 2 lanes.....cop flew by me and didnt give a shit....prolly thought I was some old lady.

There is city way south of my town. But the cops there give out free tickets to the import races at the track. It's their way of TRYING to control street racing. And on Wednesdays if you're by yourself with a car you wanna race you can race it for free at the track. That's pretty cool give the races somewhere to race with no cost. But there is a lot of people who race illegaly here anyway they all suck at it. I've never raced my car because I've been driving a stick for like a month.

Hmm.....you want parts, You live kind of far from me otherwise I could get you deals on performance parts.....if your looking to detail your interior.....honestly its worth the 50-100 to pay someone to completely detail your car, they have all that shit....if you insist, just go to pepboys and buy some interior car cleaners.

Hmm....Intake, exhaust.....im not sure I will ask my buddies if you have money and want to get the stuff.....but it will end up costing you more once you have to ship, cuz they dont get awesome deals.......their friends own pitstop motorsports and they get stuff for list price. =)
