Hi all,
Tried doing a search with little success. A friend w/ limited internet access has asked me to help him find a decent source for the front end for his 86 caprice classic.
I know with my vehicle (90 mitsu montero) there are specific sources (salvage yards) that specialize in my rig.
I noticed a thread that indicated these are in large quantities at salvage yards. How much should I expect to pay for a good deal?
I'm in the San Jose area but am willing to travel 50-100 miles for a good deal.
Thanks for any help you can provide!
Ray

Check eBay for a cheap complete front end. Believe it or not I won a complete front end for my Caprice (after it got hit) for $0.99. No Lie. Heres the link to it: Complete Caprice Classic Front End (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7944824823) I ended up giving the guy $40 because he delivered it to me personally (actually he was passing by anyway, so it just happened to work out). Take a look. (I dont mean ta take business away from the previous guy... he is givin' you a pretty sweet deal)
