i saw these cheap racing seats that looked good and felt comfortable, but i do around 5 hours of driving weekly, and cannot be uncomfortable. anyone care to shed some light on positive/negative seating experiences? the seats were 3A racing seats at pep boys

If you really want to put some cheap racing seats from pep boys go ahead. I sure as hell wouldn't.

ok i don't think that could have been any less helpful. are you saying that because they're cheap and they're from pep boys and you just assume they suck or because you know from experience, like i originally stated in the first post of the thread?

They are going to fade like hell and fall apart on you within months or weeks. Don't waste your money on that trash, spend some money on a good pair of seats. I had a pair of S2K seats, they were really good, nice and comfy and still good lateral support, but I traded a guy straight up for a pair of brand new sparco fighters, and I am never going to go back. AMAZING lateral support, great comfort, they look pretty snazzy, and mounting points for 5-point harnesses are a definite plus. Honestly, if your seats are that worn out that you need new ones and you don't want to go spend a lot of money, go pick up a pair of seats from a GSR, ITR, S2K or new SI.
