Drag Racing!!

Why are there no drag racing games? I know of 2 of em NIRA and NHRA......I think game makers should make a drag racing game that you can play on a console. I know alot of people will enjoy this.:rolleyes:

The idea of it is kinda cool, but its basically just a quarter mile straight and a bunch of funny cars. It would have to be modified a little bit for it to be really popular. Like instead of having NHRA drag cars, have street cars, that you can buy, and mod. Then it would be a cool game. I think the reason all Gran Turismo games were so popular was that it didn't just have those untouchable supercars that you would never drive in real life, they had regular cars, like civics, camaros, firebirds. Not just vipers, ferarris and drag cars, then it could be a good game.
