So far I've changed thermostat, roded radiator, there are no leaks and water pump is operational. Even if it is cold out side and on the freeway the temperature reading is still over what it used to be before I went camping. I know the engine runs hotter becuase I can feel it. Could it be my fan clutch? It appears to be working. Or could it be the AUX fan?
ANY SUGGESTIONS?

1/could be water pump impellor loose.
2/air lock.release bleed screw on rad and run at 2000 until thermostat opens ,watch the water level.
3/viscious fan faulty.to test with engine running, use rolled up newspaper and see if you can stop the fan when cold,if you can warm up to normal temp (or hot)and see if you can stop the fan again,if you can the coupling is faulty.any probs let me know.

Thanks mechy1barry....I will the test asap. As for the other suggestion by Lumpyd*ck....that wasn't the answer I was looking for, but thanks for trying your best to come up with an educated diagnosis.
