gsr suspension swap

I have a source on a car with full gsr suspension... front subframe w/ steering rack all brakes and calipers, brake master cyl., trailing arms, front and rear springs/shocks, etc. etc. basically the entire suspension setup front to back. I have been told this will all swap directly onto a Civic. Is this true? My current suspension is the stock old crap from the factory with 175,000 miles and rear drum brakes. The suspension I could buy has less than 100,000 on it and 4 wheel disc brakes and nearly new energy suspension bushings.

I am hoping all this is a direct change over swap. If this is the case I think I will have to jump on this deal. Anyone done this/know anyone who has done this before? All advice appreciated. Thank you!

i would say its possible. im 99% sure the shocks and springs will fit and the front hubs will need to be swaped for the front brakes. the rears will probably be a similar swap. the only thing that will an issue is the cable for the brake..

give it a go and let us know how it goes, who knows i may be next :p

As long as it's the FULL suspension (hubs and knuckles as well) then it should all plug and play.

The GSR has 4 lug wheels, the ITR has 5 lug.

Actually '97-'98 ITRs have 4 lug as well, but 113x4 pattern 4-lug. ;) It's the newer ITRs that have the 5 lug. '99-'01's
