Wow, I saw this thread and it stuck out like a sore thumb. Performance numbers arent everything buddy. Who cares if you are faster. I spent the weekend in a Gallardo from Motor Trend (friend is a Road Test Editor) and there's really no explanation to the amount of looks you get and "nice car" or "sweet ride" you hear from people. Think you can get that in a Civic? Maybe once in a while. Every time you drive it though?? Definately not.

I have a Lancer Evo 8. The car out-brakes the Gallardo and out-corners it in some areas of the track. But everyim time I saw the gallardo in the garage or on the driveway, i forgot about the performance numbers my car puts out (and I even forgot how to talk soemtimes). There's absolutely no other car on earth really that can even compete with the feeling you get when you see, or drive a Gallardo (my dream car). Maybe an enzo or some other ridiculously expensive cars.

Even if your car out-corners the Lambo, there's still no replacement for just driving a lamborghini. I dont care if you have a 1000 HP civic that gets 1.2 G on the skidpad....i'll take the lambo any day.
