2002 Corvette VS. 1995 Eclipse GS-T

This weekend I watched a 2002 Corvette get beaten by my friends 1995 Eclipse...It was a close race and for the record I don't like either cars but I thought I would tell you that the GS-T won...Not To Rub It In Or Anything BUT:

Cmon' guys we all know a 02 Vette would smoke an Eclipse. I dont care if its a GTS SRT SI XP LM lol whatever edition it may be, the vette wins hands down. :lol:

The Eclipse GS-T is turbocharged and it is running 10lbs. of boost on a stock turbo...I don't care if you believe me or not but the Eclipse beat the 2002 Chevy Corvette.

If all he ras running his stock turbo, from what I remember, the turboed Eclipse's were making at the most, what 220 hp? I just don't see it happening unless the guy in the Vette was a bad driver.

I have seen Turbo Eclipse's take off full throttle and have seen LS1 Vette's smoke em for touching the pedal a little too quick backing out of a parking space and the only way a eclipse would beat a LS1 is if it was being pushed by a fighter Jet, Get Real Dude!!!!! Go watch 2 Fast 2 Furious again

My friends Eclipse GS-T was dynoed and it has 450.1 horsepower, plus his car weighs a hell of a lot lighter than Corvettes do. He runs the 1/4 Mile in 12.3 @ 185mph. You still think its not a Corvette beater!!!

And anyway I hate The Fast and The Furious and 2 Fast 2 Furious...Especially 2 Fast 2 Furious because of all the American pieces of SH*T.

actually you guys are a bunch of morons. this eclipse DID beat the corvette and thats all there is to it. I hate eclipses but you need to face the facts that your corvettes arent as fast as you think they are. they are quick i give them that and they smoke most STOCK hondas and mitsibishis but they obviously werent enough for the vette. after the race the two guys were talking an the guy with the CORVETTE was impressed with the eclipse. It has way more than 220 horsepower, because as was previously mentioned, it isnt a stockeclipse.
