'87 b2200 questions

My b2200 has about 321k of miles on it. I just got it from my dad and I want to do an engine swap....or at least fix the problems its got. The first question is what is the easiest engine to swap into it. As in like a bolt-in swap. Would the '87 b2600 work? Otherwise I would like to know how to fix some of these problems.

1. Everytime I start the truck after leaving it sit for awhile I get smoke out of the exhaust for about 10-15 sec...then it stops...Carb problem...or would it be something else...I was thinking oil leaking into the cyl.

2. When the truck is cold it has some major boggin problems. The whole front end drops down at 5 mi/h in first when its cold...I mean bad boggin. Then when it heats up (after driving about 5-10 mi.) it will then run fine. Anything I can do. Or cliff it now? :evillol:

3. Is there anything you can do to get either a higher amp alternator. Or does anyone know anywhere in Southern Cali where I can get my re-clocked?

Well I guess that is all my questions for now. Thanks for taken the time to read all this....my truck needs some work.

the smoking is from oil leaking from your valve guide seals its a easy thing to fix as for the bogging down have your carb throughly cleaned or do as i did get a electric fuel pump and upgrade your carb to a weber 32/36 dgev carb w/ a carter 4070 electric pump oh yeah dont forget a jet kit for the carb then u will have no prob
