Alignment off, or is this normal?

I just recently put brand new Bridgestone RE950's on my 2002 GTP..and had the alignment checked too. The shop said the cam was off, so they installed cam bolts. The car goes straight as an arrow when I'm off the gas and coasting...but when I'm accelerating or applying gas, it pulls to the right. Is this just the normal "pull to the right" for most front wheel drive cars? Why am I noticing it so much more now?

it could be a little torque-steer, but if it pulls hard to the right you either have your camber off or your toe is off.

I'd almost have to assume that both the camber and the toe are good, since the alignment tech spent a total of 5 hours between 2 trips to the rack in adjusting my alignment. Like I said, when I'm off the gas, the car is dead on straight. Must be this wonderful phenom called torque steer.
So, would the new tires cause me to notice it more??

It could be a combination of factors causing this. You could have a bad tire, the alignment could be off slightly (there is a range for aligments, one side could be one end of the range while the other side could be the opposite of the range). If you want try swapping front tires from the left front ot the right front and see how it drives.

hmm..I see what you are saying about the tires. Can't swap sides though...Unidirectional tread. I can try going front to back to see if it makes a diff. Thanks for the suggestion.
