clutch flywheel compatibility

I was talking to my machinist and he told me not to run a stock flywheel with a ceramic clutch. He said the ceramic clutch will eat it up and that I need a billet steel flywheel. Is this so? Should I buy an organic disk? I want to put between 350 and 400 to the floor, so I will be pushing the limits on the organic. any suggestions?

i run a 6 puck act clutch and have torn up 3 flywheels.The olny one i havent torn up is a stock one i had a clutchmaster,asco,act all of them have failed like to the point that my disc was actually stuck to the flywheel and had to be pryed off with a pry bar.So i use the stock one.I cut down to save a little weight.But it's your call and make sure the step hight is correct[as in the cut of the flywheel]
