On my pasenger side the black boot it ripped open, oil on the inside of my rim/on the boot, and when I turn you hear it clicking. Does that mean I need to replace my CV joint? How much does that cost and is it hard?

If it clicks the joint is already destroyed. You need to just replace that whole axle. You can get them for like $50 at auto parts stores when you bring the old axle back.

Yeah, the joint is destroyed, and it is considerably easier to replace the axle, and not too much more expensive.

Axles aren't hard to replace. Removing the axle nut can be a little tricky without air tools.
Only time will tell Vesper, if you know it's bad then I would replace it.

They'll last a long time before they finally fail. USUALLY you'll go crazy from the noise first.

one tip: use a pickle fork to get the lower controll arm off not a 2 jaw puller its so much easier
once you do it, the 2nd and 3rd times are cake!

The best way to do it is not even touch the ball joints, just unbolt the LCA from the subframe...
