Alright guys, this is kind of a matter of opinion, and I am looking for all of yours. I have just gotten my b18c, it is currently sitting in my garage waiting to be prepped for install into the car. Before I put it in the car I plan to put in a new water pump, timing belt, and timing belt tensioner. My question is this; I know the parts from Honda are going to be total wallet rape. I am considering getting the parts I need from AutoZone. Not the cheap parts, but the more well known replacement parts and things that have warrenties, etc. to save money over Honda. What do you guys think?

IMO all I would use is Honda or better parts.

Have you checked www.hondaautomotiveparts.com

Thanks for the link. I didn't see listings for Acura Integra so I just went with the theory that most of the pasts I need will be the same as a b16 Civic Si. It was pretty crazy the factory Honda parts cost less than some of the parts I priced from Auto Zone. I think that pretty much wraps that up, Honda replacement parts it is.

Thanks again

ok... I know this post is old but I just ordered my parts for the new engine. I am soooo ready to do this swap!

I ordered:
1 timing belt
1 timing belt tensioner w/ spring
1 water pump
1 water pump gasket
1 pilot bearing
1 clutch release bearing

by the way jackasssi, I ordered the parts from the link you gave me... it was very easy and the people are friendly when you call them on the phone (I wanted to know how long it took to ship parts ordered online)
