89 ford escot headlight assembly

my girlfriends 89 ford escort's passenger side light bulb keeps breaking, it broke 7 times in the last 6 months, i always put a new one in but the glass from the old ones are still inside the light housing...i think when she hits a pot hole or a bumb the glass in there is hitting the new bulbs and breaking it... well i went to go take the light housing out today and i cant get all the screws out, is there an easy way of getting the housing out or do i have to take everything apart...if someone has takin it out can they please please give me a detailed description on how to remove the headlight housing!
