One of the light bulbs finally went out on my '96 C1500. Hard to complain since this is the first bulb failure of any kind with exactly 100k miles.
BUT, is it easy to replace? It's the left most bulb just behind the tach. (it's now noticeably darker in that area)
thanks,

Its not that hard to do. The outer bezel just pulls off. If you have any switches attached to it like the head lights, just unplug them and get the bezel out of the way. When you get it off the cluster is bolted in by 4 small screws on each corner. They are either 7mm or 8mm, I can't remember. When you take them out the cluster will pull straight out. Once you get it out the bulbs are twisted in on the back in little plastic housings. Look for the one in the area thats dark and replace it. You may have to go to the dealer to get it, but there not that expensive.
Hope this helps.
