03 overhead console removal?

I want to put my radar detector in and I don't want the wire running from the cigar lighter. I was thinking about hard wiring it in to the lights on the overhead console. I have the short one, versus the one that runs the entire length, and have tried to get it down to get at the map light wiring. I take out the single screw but it is still connected to something... I haven't applied any pressure in fear of screwing up the head liner. Has anyone taken the console down and can you give me any tips on easy removal?

Take out the 1 phillips screw toward the front. There are 2 friction posts at the rear which will just pull out. Does that make any sense?

Makes sense... I didn't want to be pulling on it and the headliner come down if there were more screws or fastners.
