World premiere in NY was first to show those wheels, but only as image show wheels. There is no production frame for production of the same.

I myself was very intrigued with this future/retro design so I have contacted Toyota to learn this.

It would make less air for brakes, not tested for drive, too heavy !

However, in both Europe, US or Japan for that matter If one would really insist in similar design, there is absolutely some equivalence to this design, but look at www.toyota.de to see how European wheels are fantastic. This is earth friendly car, with this wheels you would look as Marion Cobrety in sequel of Cobra II, surely that is not what you desire?

Or is it ? :naughty:

Then, you must get yourself all gadgets from this picture : :lol2:

if you wanted to change the tires of the prius, it would be kind of pricey. the tires and wheels of the prius are pretty light already. the rims are aluminum alloy which is neat because most cars come with standard steel rims. the tires are 185/65 15 inch tires. Finding low profile, light tires such as those may be expensive. every 10 lbs of tire added puts 40 lbs into the trunk so it will decrease mpg, speed, and overall efficiency of the car. unless you find light, low profile ones :)

im sorry, you only need to find light, low profile ones if you want to increase the width of the tire, say instead of 185, you want to go to 195 or 205, etc
