Also did anyone mention the TypeSH?

The celica GT beating the lude?? You must be kidding. I have video of a lude taking a gts, giving the gts a car lead if you want it. E-mail me.

Do you know what you are talking about. Who cares if you have a clip of a lude beating a GT-S. Probably just the driver that lost. And about the type SH. Well did you know that all the SH is, is a suspension upgrade. No more power than a regular lude. Ludes are heavy and have 200hp. Celica weighs like 400lbs less than that and has 180hp. What else do you not know?

I think Prelude has 16lbs of torque on Celica GT-S.

The speed goes this way.

Integra Type R
RSX Type S
Celica GT-S With Leather and Sunroof
Prelude Type SH

wrong, the type sh has atts, and higher cams. that was in reference to handling. Have you guys actually driven both cars? I have, You can't just look at numbers, It's on the street that counts. On the street the "looks fast" car, well thats what it does. :finger:

so to stand corrected, the lude has 2lbs more torque, and that power is at a lower rpm range.

Also, where do you get off saying RSX-S is faster than ITR???

The WRX would beat any of those cars, sorry to burst your bubble.

They don't weight the same. On average Type S weights about 167 lbs more than Type R. It varies depending on the model year of Type R. Also Type R doesn't have a rev limiter therefore it can be launch at high rpms. Type R also have a LSD and way more grippy tire.

I think we can all agree on the S2000.

The S2000 is faster.
But the Integra Type R has a rev limiter. I know because Sun International put the engine into teh Lotus Elise to make it street legal in the US. (It'll cost you 54 grand to get one). They had a higher redline programmed into the computer, and had it limited to 9400rpm, not 8900 or so in the standard engine.

Lotus with Type R engine is not a Integra Type R. Also the standard redline for B18C is 8400RPM same as NSX I think. 8900RPM is Civic Type R's redline I believe, Mine is 9000RPM.

i have a clica GT-S 6 speed....i love it! its fast and it handles awsome.the Acura is only like half a second faster to 60. its all pretty much up to the drivers of the cars. i think u get more value out of the celica though...and im 6'2" and the celica has plenty of room for me;)

half a second is a long time when comparing 0-60 times. it can make a considerable difference.

Prelude over Celica GTS in my opinion! It's pretty heavy I must agree but I have a 97 base and it's quite lighter than an SH and faster too. I dont know why people always compare type SH's for...There good for handling so compare it on that. As for speed, a base model would be a better contender. If you tune it right, you will walk on a Celica GTS. ESPECIALLY on the freeways. For you luders out there, much propz, our cars our legends...not failures
