Blower motor location

I have reason to believe my blower motor in my 96 Jimmy is going. It works, then doesn't, then might work again. Where is it located? And is it an easy replacement? Can it be purchased at any auto parts store?

I think its at the top aon the pass side inside the hood like on my 1991 jimmy, IT should be easy, yeah get a new one from a parts store... good luck...

Also remember if your new blower motor doesn't come with the squirrel cage ( fan), you'll have to use your old one.Sometimes the cage is held on with a clip, and is easy to remove. If your old motor uses a nut to retain it, it most likely is a reverse thread! Double check it.
