im looking into buying an engine for my 1996 nissan maxima se.
can anybody point me in the right direction.

Check ebay.com Type Maxima Engine or something like that. It goes anywhere from $250.00 to $1000.00 try to find something with Low miles. Hopefully that helps. Check everyday.
