1996 Maxima Stall/Shutdown when Idle

Hi my Maxima has had 3 rear ignitions coils and crank case sensor replace by a service company. When stop or idle it will shut off without notice like if someone turn ignition off. It will start right back up may work good for a while. I was told the crank case sensor was burned and that the coils were arching. Which I now think after 3 attempts by the same company they are giving me the shaft. Question if the ignition coils were bad would the check engine light come on and car be run very rough? I was told the first day they could not find a problem. Then the 3 coils were arching. If these 3 coils were that bad do you not think a national known service company would have notice the first day. The coils are in a place where they can be seen. The second and third time I have been told the they clean the throttle body it had a build up of carbon. I am starting to think it a (TPS) Throttle Position Sensor. Can anyone give me your thoughts.
