Hi Guys!

I was wondering if there was anyway to clean my fuel injectors? I have ran some concentrated fuel injector cleaner through it but there has to be a better way. Maybe a kit I can purchase to do the work my self. If so where can I buy the kit.

Also, I was wondering what the best fuel injectors for my vehicle are. I know that Accel makes some and also SLP. I have a 2001 v6 camaro. Thank you!!!

can of BG 44k at your local dealership, should be like 14 bucks.

well u can get them flow tested and high pressure cleaned at some shops they hook them up and shoot cleaner stuff directly through them. They make something similar that hooks up to your fuel line and you run the car off of that stuff for like 1-2 min. and it cleans the shit out of them pretty good. But I think the kits are expensive.... Check at some shops around town and your local part store. The gas tank additives just dont do as much as these other 2 methods...

Never, Never put fuel injectors in water. They rust immediately. Never. Buy a good injector cleaner. Most do not wear out but they do. Can last over 100,000 miles. But clean them correctly. NO water.

most new injectors are self cleaning, but if you think they are dirty use a cleaner that is in a metal can. that is always a rule of thumb for injector cleaner...Plasic containers have weaker cleaners.

For injectors, I believe most are the same. remember to pay attention to what fuel pressure they are rated at. if they are rated at 30 pounds under 35psi, they will flow more with higher Fuel Pressure.... there is no need to replace your injectors on a stock or even bolt on motor unless yours are actually faulty.
