Cant Find A Damn Car

Im kinda getting pissed off. I really want a cheap car (prefferably a domestic) that i can beat on and not worry. Theirs so many choices, but i cant find ANY within my price range that are actually worth it. I've narrowed the cars down, but i can only get one, and finding one that is actually nice is hard. arrgh :disappoin

1984-1992 Lincoln Mark VII BB/LSC/SE-not really a large selection to choose from in my area, and they always have a bad cond. suspension
1993-1997 Lincoln Mark VIII-a bit pricy, lack of MK8's locally
1982-1992 Camaro Z28-a bit redneckish for my taste-all mostly overpriced POS's
1982-1992 Firebird-lack of Firebirds locally
1984-1993 Mustang GT/LX 5.0-Overpriced POS's

Nissan S13/240SX-its a 4cyl. Appealing styling, otherwise.

Bad luck for car shopping for used 80's muscle cars.

(note: when i say "overpriced POS" i mean their being sold for more then their worth)

Get a Ford Escort, then remove the badges, replace them with decals that say "Hooker"

for wanting a cheap car you sure picked a lot of gas guzzlers. then there's the nissan. i'd go with something GM if you really want domestic, otherwise i'd get the 240.

Get a civic, oh wait... yeah get a civic.

If you really want a mustang, go on vacation to florida and pick one up there. They are cheaper and are in better underbody condition.

If you're thinking about a festiva, just go for a Yugo. I found an o.k. one (read: runs, no rust, but needs some work) for a "negotiable" $1000, nearly twice what it's worth. I would've bought it if I knew it existed before I bought the Le Car.

Personally, those cars are priced just about right with a bit of negotiation room.

Go for a Mustang. The Lincolns are too flabby. The airbag suspension is easy to fix, just the parts are expensive.

Hey, get a pick em up truck, like a late 80s Toyota. :)

I think the Nissan S13 would be a good choice.

Oh, how about a 1st gen Taurus SHO, plus you can have some fun too.

So true. I live here in FL. and I see about 5 Stangs a day for a decent price(most of them are in a good condition. others are just a pain in the ass really and need tons of work). Either way; good luck on finding a car man :smokin:

It takes patients to find the car/price that you want. Give it more time.
