alright, i just sprayed a body with Testors Lime Gold w/ metal flake (1642) and i got like these really dark areas around the edges. now, i tried this on another project, and i got the drak areas, so i was extra careful this time to put on a lighter coat, but i still got a similar result.
Anyone else have this problem/ know what im doing wrong?

p.s. i used krylon white primer, if that matters....

didn't shake enugh..

I have those kind of problem with Metalic Tamiya paint sometime.. like the project i work right now, there is 2 spot that have more flake than other, so that make it brighter in my case..

Well, i have used all sorts of testors sprays and I and a few others are the only ones who find them to be half decent, most people on af seem to think that they are crap.

the trick is to heat the paint, as hot as you can get it, so it will flow really easily, you also need to shake it for a couple minutes, and constantly shake it while you paint, and paint in EXTREMELY light coats, it doesnt matter if it takes you 10 coats, it will look a lot better, another trick i have found is to paint from the bottom to the top, this way the paint doesnt really run run down, just make sure you paint in really light coats.

sony.... I do that with all my paints. I find I'm getting better results with some testors, than I did with tamiya...go figure.

I do it with all of mine aswell, but i find you need to take a lot longer with testors (ie: alot warmer paint, shake a lot more, and do many more coats)
