wondering if adjustable coilovers would be the best way to go for my 2k1 civic coupe ex. i don't want it too low all the time, but i would like to be able to lower it down for showtime. adjustable coilovers, air bags, springs, air cylinders

Adjustability is not all it is cracked up to be, everytime you souch the ride height you need an alignment. You live in the midswest so you see snow that might be the only benfit raising it up in the winter as I do.
160 a year on alignments, but I also have two different sets of tires and rim sizes so it is not that big of a deal.

You just want a drop use a spring like the Eibach prokit or Neupseed softsport, for a minor drop. You want to drop anything more than that you will need new shocks which you may need anyway.

What do you want to do with the car?
The 7th gen is not going to be the handler the 6th gen was and modifying the suspension will be more costly.

I would recommend, the prokit if you want to drop.
If you want adjustability without replacing the struts, go with the ground control sleeves, labor will cost more because they have to modify the strut to fit it on.
