Factory Stereo Issue

Anyway wanna see if they can answer my question about a factory stereo that has been around em a lot? lol.. :cwm27:

is there a question to be answered????? do yourself a favor don't ask about doin anything with the stock deck jus replace it. go wit the pioneer avh7500 or my perfered deck would be the kenwood kvt-911

as far as affordable stereos go u usually can get a good kenwood for between 150-200 bucks without a prob

you can get a good anything for around 150-200 bucks, personally i'd go with sony, something like a cdx-f5505, 5700, or 5705. they're all mp3 recievers too, so you can fit about 200 songs on one cd

i would say go with either pioneer or kenwood. sony is ok but i haven't had the best of luck with them. don't get me wrong sony has some bad ass subs i jus don't like thier decks. i've had the least r&r (repair or replace) orders with kenwood, then pioneer. oh well go with the look you like and the company you perfer.

not a fan of sony or pioneer i like panasonic, for head units and memphis all the way around, kenwood is all good to

panasonics r nice units 2. i still like kenwood over anything as far as head units go. still pioneer has some nice equipment and so does alpine

This is the only thread without a question but has a lot of answers :D ... and as far as the head unit goes... there is an old thread written by boosted spyder which explains clearly read it... and my personal choice would be either eclipse head unit (seems a bit costly) which has lot of options for tuning audio... and if u want a good one with simple options it will be alpine...

eclipse head unit as in the eclipse made by fujitsu ten. if thas what ur talking about i have 2 eclipse 8" subs that can deliver some great bass thats suprising for 8's

i have never seen the performance of eclipse subs... but heard that they are really good... but u wanna best subs... check this www.jlaudio.com but these are not cheap... and i have 1 jl w3 12inches and thats enough to blow ur ears in the eclipse :D

if your looking for awesome performance its expensive ($700 for the 10 and $900 for the 12) and will run 4000 watts continious and 5000 will sieze it up is the jl w7 and will hit harder than 2 15's at 1000 watts apiece. another one that isn't cheap is if you go with the boston accoustics pro-series subs. for great sound that rivals both of these look into the alpine r12's which r slightly cheaper. all three are compitition grade subs and will deliver great sound if you have the right amp and a good installer. w3 deliver some great sound as well. i've been impressed by my eclipse subs to but both my 8's cost me almost 400 bucks. you can get a set of rockford 12's for under 400.

biggest thing is anything will bump hard in an eclipse because of the way the back end is shaped and the air space is so small. all you need after that is a good amp that will deliver clear sound and a good installer to set the amp right.

you could get great sound out of pyle or legacy subs in an eclipse. most anything will be awesome in the back of the eclipse tho

i dislike kenwood, the deck i had that cost me 300 bucks has blown the RCA outputs 4 times....and now bestbuy doesnt carry that model so i would have to ship it back to the warehouse. personally i love alpine. definatly mp3 cd player...go all out
