2005 mustang gt

done with a drawing of the new car i bought!!! :biggrin: yeah right. has some things id like to fix on it, but iv already spent too much time on this drawing. any suggestions??? thanks

looks great...im not sure about the right rear wheel, i think that its on too much of and angle. but ur talking to a guy whos not the greatest at wheels so u dont have to listen to me. your shadings mad dude

ya, it looks good, i must make some suggestions though, i hope you dont mind. Your shading is good, but you may want to try the darks darker and the lights lighter, i think youll find that the improved contrast improves the look. Also, work on you frames, your body looks twisted, indian burn style, i dont know if you know what i mean, but practice generally remedies that. And finally, you may want to use a piece of paper as a arm rest, so you dont smear it, as i noticed you did, especiallyaround the GT logo which is sweet.

And the rear wheel too, but thats been covered.

Great job. All I noticed was that the near rear light is too small.

yeah think about this too, things get smaller the further away they are. not bigger, cuz its hard to see but your left exaust is a bit bigger than the other. im not trying to make you mad but these things get noticed. great over al though

tuscan.... yeah, i noticed the wheel too. i must of drawn it 8 times, rim and all, and still couldnt get the right angles. it was makin me really mad, so i just left it be.

customace, yeah, i noticed the frame as well too. the problem with that is that i unfortunately drew the whole drawing pretty much when i noticed it, so, and i know this sounds bad, didnt bother to change it...oops. and about contrasting, i agree completely, but my scanner doesnt really pick up all the shading, and changing resolution or brightness wasnt really helping as much as i would have liked, so i didnt bother. yeah, the GT symbol is the concept symbol, and i dont believe they put it on the production model. and, again with the scanner, i meant to smudge the symbol for a different type look. so in the real drawing, you see the shading around the symbol alot more clearily.

mshktth and jordan mc. yeah, ive read alot of how to draw cars like a pro, good book, but im still having trouble using it all on the paper. i think the explanation for the rear light is also due to the frame problem.

what makes me mad, is that i see everythin people are telling me, its just i cant get it right on paper.

overall, im a little dissapointed with the drawing, especially since i took alot of time on it... oh welll, what are you gonna do?? thanks again

hey dont be disappointed! thats an awesome drawing. u just need more practice thats all, and u should ask asaenz or whatever, they will tell u that its just practice practice practice!!

it is a very clean drawing and i like it. im sure ive spent more time on much worse drawings.

what u should do is either trace or redraw the parts u got right (very lightly) on a new bit of paper, and then try and improve it, with what everyone has been saying.

keep practicing!

the only thing i'm not feeling is the back wheel, it looks too 2d-ish IMO.

thats a good drawing! but remember, proportion first, detail last (not to say detail isnt important, but if you proportion is wrong and you have super detail, the drawing will look like crap...) otherwise your doing good...im guessing your a lefty due to the car angle and smudging, but i may be wrong, but if you are (and even iif your not) definatly rtest your arm on paper because im lefty and i know what its like to mess up a drawing because of smudges...keep working at it and you will get it and most of all, KEEP DRAWING!!
