Ok my car is Ideling irradicaly and settels usualy around 2000 to 2500rpm, I remeber someone saying something about a Fast idle control valve.
Could this be my problem ? If so what do I do Replace it, Rebuild it, Fix it ? and if I replace it what fits it ?
I'm thinking 92 Teg GSR but need confirmation on that.
thanks

if it's erratic AND idling high, I'd be changing both the FICV and the TPS/throttle body mate. I had to do both on my SiR which had exactly the same problem and now it idles firmly at 750rpm. I'd suggest tracking down second hand parts of each, doing the FICV first followed by replacing the throttle body with untampered TPS. For some reason the TPS goes off and there's no point trying to reset it yourself - it's a factory thing.
Both contribute to the increase in rpm @ idle, but it's usually the TPS that makes the idle erratic.
Cheers

Here's the thread that will allow you to try and repair it.

If you need to replace it, then 2nd gen teg motors have the exact same part...
