In your opinion, which company makes the best short shifter for a 5th gen Lude? Also, is it an easy DIY?

EDIT: it says 92-96 only on their site. But there must be some way to get it to work with 97+ though. I'd email them about it first.

What are your thoughts on B & M and Nuespeed?

i haven't heard anything bad about them.
whatever you do though, don't get just some funky bracket you mount onto your stock shifter to make your throws shorter. Get a TRUE short shifter system, with full replacement of your lever, mount, etc...

I think both Neuspeed and B&M make adaptors only, for the prelude.
B&M might make a true short shifter though, I'm not sure.

Yeah, I know the adaptors are crap. I haven't heard back from pspec yet about the 5th gen shift kit. I want to stay away from DC because I heard they rub on the exhaust/heat shield. Are there any other brands out there that mfg the real thing?
