I have a 2000 Silverado 2500 Heavy-Duty (Not HD) 6.0 auto and i have a few questions.

I can hear a real light ticking on the passenger side of the engine. it sounds like a light valve tick. the dealership says they cant hear it but i can. i have heard a few people say this isnt out of the ordinary in silverados. should i be worried?

from higher speeds when i press on the brakes there is a skip, almost like the vehicle is stuttering. i have new pads and had the rotors, calipers and lines checked all OK. what could this be?

the exhaust is strange and im sure you know the setup. true duals off the engine, dual into muffler (barrell) single out. would insytalling new mufflers and dumping the have any consequences in back pressure? i heard it may be difficult to start with any altering of the stock exhaust.

And last but not least. Does anybody know of a website where i can check for recalls this and any other vehicle?

thanks for your time and any help

Wow nobody can help me with anything?

Has anybody ever put true duals with 2 chamber flows on their 6.0? Is there to much interior resonance? i have a long bed if it makes a difference. but my intentions are tocut off the stock muffler close to the inlet, put on 2-2 chamber flowmasters and some turndowns to dump them in front of the axle. any similar setups?
