My "check gauges" light comes on, and simultaniously, the oil pressure gauge drops quickly.
this all happens in a second or two, and does it only when a stop the car quickly, or accelerate quickly. the engine continues to run normally, and i doubt the oil pressure is actually droping.
I'd appreciate any advise thanx!

it might be the sensor my oil pressure drops when i stop for a light or at a stop sign. just keep the rpm's between 800 and 1000 rpm ot put the car in N till you start driving again. also try useing a thicker weight oil

ok thanx!
Someone told it may be the sensor.
I'll try heavier oil first

when you stop or accelerate suddenly, the oil is going to rush either forward or backward, causing the sensor to send a false reading.
