This is one for a 2g... http://www.2gnt.com/www/files/pvcintake.htm
You can use it as a guide. And it would be the same except you would have to figure out the different pvc bends and the pipes.

ya it does work... caz one guy (95gsxracer) is using it in his car... he told us that it doesnt look that good but still performance wise its the same as the other branded stuffs... he has areoun 397hp and still uses it... so i guess it should be reliable... but there is no bling bling in it :(

ya it does work like they say it dont look great but you could wraap it in header tape and it would hide it some but some tracks dont like it expecially if you use nitrous because i have seen it back fire them blow it up (not so good) but o well

If you have a nitrous backfire no intake is going to withstand it. Even intake manfolds can blow up.
I did a writeup of mine at my site (www.posracing.net). I think its a great way to go, unless you need something that looks good. In which case, I dont think you would have started this thread. You could even use exhuast piping in whatever size you wanted if you can weld, and then paint or powder coat it. Still cheaper than a store bought intake, but looks the same.
