2001 Beetle Lost Power

Help!....it's -10 F here and my 2001 TDI Beetle went from 65 mph to 0 on the interstate....lost all power. Had glow plugs replaced 4K miles ago that required VW svc folks to pull the head (twice) to seat the #3 glowplug....I think their work couldn't handle the coldsnap and I've lost compression again......it's got 87K miles on it but I'm not all too happy about this turn of events....any thoughts?

Have you been using diesel supplement during the cold weather? When did you change your TB last?
