I have a 96' Tacoma 4x4 V6 5-speed without locking hubs. My front suspension is done and I need new suspension. I rarely (if ever) go off road, so I was wondering what lift I should get. I have no money, so the cheaper, the better. How much do certain lifts cost and have much would if be to install? Thanks to anyone who can help me. I appreciate it.

go with the 3 inch revtek since it has the diff drop to keep ur cv's at the correct angle. I'd go with 32/11.50 tires.

If you need a new front suspension then the revteck lift is out of the question. That will only make your ride worse then it is. You can get some newer v'6 TRD coils and that should give you a .5 to 1inch lift over what you have. alot of people sale them on ebay or chech local junk yards for wrecked tacomas. Or you can go with a coilover setup. Saws, fabtech, kings, etc) this will let you go from 1-3 inchs of lift and you improve ride 100%. this lift will run at least 600$ you should get new rear shocks and a add leaf to level it out as well. you will want to also get a diff drop for the front if you go over 1.5 inchs in the front
