Turbo Tuning

just a quick question, but if you get a turbo kit installed, how often would you want to get your car tuned? Thanks.

only once, and then i would do it after i change the amout of air and\or fuel going into the motor, what do you mean by tuning btw there is alot of ways to tune your car..

adding to the question... would it be better to just buy a wideband sensor and be able to tune whenever, and not have to pay someone $$ for dyno time

what i ment by tuning it is I heard that when people get turbo kits installed on they're car they tune it with hondata or something like that. I have also heard of people taking it to a shop to tune it. so I just wasnt sure how often it would need to be tuned. (I am somewhat new at turbo kits) Just another quick question. If I were to purchase a turbo kit, with something like hondata and I upgraded my kit, such as an upgraded turbo, manifold, wastegate, and BOV, would I need to get it tuned again? Is a tuning process done with hondata, or is it on a dyno? Thanks.

im pretty sure that it is tuned form the dyno not the hondata, that just makes it tunnable..

what I ment by tuning is I heard some people get stuff like hondata or whatever. I just heard that it is important to get it tuned, but I didnt know what they do when they tune it, or how often they do it... I didnt know if tuning it ment tuning hondata or however else it would need to be tuned when having a turbo kit on there. just adding to my own question, if I were to get the greddy turbo kit, and later got a B.O.V. intercooler and wastegate installed would I have to take it to get it re-tuned? any info would be helpful. Thanks.
