Snow - I've had it!

I’ve had enough of this damn snow! We’ve gotten nearly fifty inches in the last four days. The snow banks are unreal! I wish I had a digital camera to show you how bad its gotten here. The radar image has been pretty consistent, shit loads of snow right over Petoskey. It hasn’t changed. Damn “lake effect“ snow is just crunching us here. This is a great place to be in the spring, summer (especially summer) and the fall, but winter sucks the big one. So, anyone out there need an experienced software engineer with tons of experience in transact SQL, Delphi and Dataflex? I think its time to get out!

DVS – this is all your fault!! ;) And believe me Snowboarder – you can have the snow. Boyne Mountain, Boyne Highlands and Nubbs Knob have more then enough for the skiers already. Maybe living within a few miles of each isn’t such a good idea.

Yogs you ever though of immigrating to New Zealand?
Man I have no plans to ever go back. We have tropical conditions here year round where I am at. In 3 1/2 years I have only seen the lower 40's a few times.
With your skills you would have little difficulty in getting a work permit and residency.

Guys it is not like I am a bad American, well ok because I am not politically correct I may be, but damn New Zeleand is such a laid back society here and you can modd your car to the moon and still drive it on the street!
we have like no emissions controlls and exhaust noise restrictions, well with in reason.
The country side is so beautiful and the air is cleaner than you will ever find in the states unless you go into the mountains, due to we have like no major industry here such as steel plants. If you ever decided you want to go snow skiing or such there is are a couple of places here in the North Island or you jump on a plane in a few hours your in Christchurch where you can see all the snow you want.
There is another guy already working it out on coming here for Educational purposes and I am doing what I can to assist him.

Well I live in San Diego, and the most it does is rain, we don't have a winter:). Oh yeah, its about 60-65 degrees out here right now. Its nice having no weather or seasons, all we have is nice and not as nice, but after 13 years out here....it almost gets boring.

The beaches are cool for seeing topless women......just walk further along and you will see even more.
We are all pretty laid back. Take each day as it comes.
Your exchange rate makes it for a very good holiday here.

I dont mind some snow, but fifty inches+ in four days is not what I have in mind. There is an insane amount of snow out there! I wish I were someplace nicer so I could drop the top and cruise in the sun.......

I wanna know where the hell all the snow is that's supposed to be around here at this time of year. I think I wanna go up to Buffalo and spend some time in the 7 feet. Everytime I mention snow in my house I get yelled at though
Last year on this day we had a lot of snow, this year there's none.

Ahhh another bright sun shinny day. Went to a beach further up north this morning to catch the sun coming up. As the day warmed the beauties came out to play!
I counted no less than 26 not only sun bathing topless but swimming and walking around!
Good thing I had on dark sun glasses because I have serious eye strain again. :D

Back when I was in Chicago I can remember tons of times that Lake effect snow would dump on us big time. The winter of 78-79 is one for the ages!

We were watching the News early this morning, I believe it was at like 3am and somerwhere in the States they have had like 7 feet of snow. I could have though they said Buffalo but not sure. Can anyone confirm this. Also that must be the total thus far for the season to not a single fall.
