Berger Camaros

some of you may be noticing my suggestions on the chambered exhaust from GMMG inc. in several posts, not many people seem to know about this camaro, which was available through a dealer in the south, with a full factory warrantee, as a production vehicle. quite possibly the most bad ass camaro in recent history, ranking up there with the 1969 ZL1 and the 1970 LT-1 equipped Camaro. this camaro though not well known and in great production, and not from GM its self, was a match for the 390hp cobra, and the Z06 corvette. so i thought i would give you all the website, and let you find out about these amazing specimens of our favorite car. specs according to Hot Rod magazine, rear wheel hp, 380, 6200rpm rear wheel torque, 377 4900 rpm. 1/4 mile in 12.73 @ 112mph on street tires, traction limited. if you go to the section on chambered exhaust, there are quicktime videos that will let you hear the chambered exhaust sing, its a beatiful sound. but the clips hardley do it justice. in person its 100% better. id like to do this treatment to my 1989 IROC. but alas, i have no money lol. hope yall enjoy.

I love those cars. I could never afford a GMMG exhaust though. I still want a Dale Earnhardt SS...

yeah, the cost is very prohibitive, why i went with the flowmaster american thunder system, for the price of the GMMG exhaust, i got a set of edelbrock headers, high flow cat, and the flowmaster catback. it would be interesting to see if there is any interest in a group buy on here, maybe they would drop the price to something more palateable.

I don't know, there would have to be a hell of alot of buyers to drop it to about half of their price, before I think they'd be more competitive with the other brands...

haha...maybe we can all get together, everyone on the forum, and get some kindof group purchase deal...eh?eh? any takers...lol

if we had enough people to get the price dropped to say, 400 bucks, id be there. hell, i might go as far as 450 for that system.

i'd go in on it too, but with the noise laws they got around here i'd be getting tickets everytime i start the car up.

You might be surprised. I've never had a ticket with my loudmouth, surprisingly. But there's no doubt in my mind that if I was pulled over for something else, that I'd probably be ticketed for it :)

they make a big deal about noise around here, pisses me off too.
