Dash repair

Anyone ever use that dash repair kit with the paste and heating unit? If it works and looks good, $40 sure beats the $370 for a new dash.

How about that Por 15 rust prevention product? Any experience with that? It almost seems too good to be true?

Thanks for your input!

Check this out man. I'm gonna order this to go over my dash. It cost less than a new dash and I just about guarentee you'll be the only one on your block to have one. Oh, and to answer your question, it really depends on the size damage we're talking about. A small crack can easily be repaired with this, but larger cracks will most likely be still noticeable.

Not really sure on the color yet. I'm trying to decide if I'm gonna stay grey with the interior, or go with another color. Either way, I'm gonna go with a full flame theme in the interior(gauges, door panels, dash, seats,) I was also thinking about going with some ghost flames on the hood and front fenders.

Where can some one get a dash cover like this? Do they only have flames? Does it come factory paint matched? Is it cheaper than painting original dash?

Stylinconcepts.com has the dash cover. As far as I know, they are only offered with the flames. I'm pretty sure you'll have to get it painted to match your interior or whatever color you want, but it will be fairly cheap to paint.
