Z28 Vs Vette

Hi i have a 1984 corvette with HEADERS, exhaust no cats,85 fuel pump,X-RAM,hypertech chip, air pump off,K&N, No AC or condinsire,New 265/50R16 tires and my friend has a 1994 Z28 auto all stock how bad will he beat me?? 0-60 and 1/4 I'"v race and beat a pontiac grand prix GTP with exhaust,chip,3.4 pully, and beat a 2001 lincoln continetal with exhaust,superchip miro tunner,K&N,{SAME ENGINE AS IN THE COBRA!!!} 300 hp+ THANKS FOR ANY INFO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

0-60 to 1/4 time stock

A 1985 corvette dose 0-60 in 5.7 1/4 in 14.1 and theres only 25 HP diff between a 84-85. I G-TECH mine at 6.4 before all my mods exept for exhaust.

Nah, with your mods you should be able to put up a pretty good fight, but I think he might take you top end.

I'm assuming you have an L98, which is a great engine for low end torque, but they somewhat die out above 4500-5000rpms. A healthy cam would put your power band a bit higher up the rpm range, and would definately give you the advantage, but as it sits, it's going to be a close race. I'd like to see this one... :)

I race him last night at a local air strip first we raced from off the line.We both spun a little and i got the jump i was a hafe a car ahead tell i hit 90 then he slowly came closer and closer tell he past me at 105mph.than we raced at a 15 mph roll same results,Than we raced at a 70 mph roll it was relly close tell 85 than he pulled a car on me up to 120mph.I was relly happy how good i did against him. Z28 relly pull hard at top end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
