my lumina dont start

i have a 1990 chev lumina euro 3.1 manual tranny. i have replaced the battery with a brand new one and the starter with a brand new one. but yet the car still clicks like the starter is done. but thats the 3rd time i changed the starter b/c i was told to. the battery has lots of power but still, the motor dont turn it just clicks. im desperate wot shoul i do please someone get back to me.....

How did you get a 3.1 with a manual? Did you have a Getrag 282 swapped in or something?
You should check the cables going to your starter, one of them is probably loose, or corroded through perhaps.

I would agree. Check the wire from the battery to the starter solenoid for corrosion. If any of the cables are buulging, you may have corrosion inside the wire insulation. Your only option then is to replace the wire.
