Your going to be very hard pressed to find a Supra owner who actually wants to get rid of any of the I6's for a V8. Now that that's said why are you even considering this, and in which Supra?

Usually to repair a I6 of the supra it cost more than repairing the V8 350ci...
I'm seen the Datsun Z is growing to having the 350ci V8 in their cars...
I'm just intersting on who has done it and which parts and kits required to succsess the installtion...

Thanks...

For a straight rebuilt it's about the same price, now when it comes to upgraded parts theres no competition, any american iron wins that hands down vs. a jap import that nobody wants. 7m upgraded rods are $600 (for 6 rods) while 350 V8 H-beams are only $400 (for 8). It will cost you some money to drop the V8 in there, especially since you can't figure out what it takes to do it (no offence meant). So all in all you'd come out on top just swapping/rebuilding a 7m-gte, you are thinking of this in a MKIII (86.5-92) right? Or a MKII? If your really set on doing this swap though, it's your car, so in the end you do what you want cause you have to drive it. As for the pics heres a TT 350,

There are lots of others, but people who usually do this swap don't post much, saw one on ebay for sale with a 350 in it, and theres a tubbed out drag car with a chopped ford rear end and slicks, I believe it has a BB V8 in it. For parts all you'll need are the motor mounts, trans mounts, drive shaft, radiator hoses, radiator, possibly have to modify the gear selector, and if you want EFI then lots and lots of wiring.
