detailing carburators, storing chrome foil

Anyone got any tips on detailing carburators? They don't really have much detail to them. And how about using chrome foil on something like a blower? Using it on trim is getting a little easier, but I haven't been able to do something with a lot of intricate details like a blower or a throttle body. How do ya'll store your foil. I've got mine in a notebook I keep pictures and how-to notes in, but it's getting wrinkled and appearing to maybe oxidize or something.

Keep your foil in a cool dry place out of the light.For chrome on anything that isn't plated having them chrome plated is the best.(Chrometech USA for example)Expensive and inconvenient if you live outside the US.The next best thing is Alclad chrome paint.Look in the FAQs for this one.Use plenty of references,your favorite scratchbuilding supplies and plenty of paitience when detailing carbies.
