Full gasket replacement

im planning on taking the engine apart and repacing as many gaskets as possible. i got my 2 a few months ago. it was sitting for three years. the timming belt already busted...i dont want anything else to go bad... any suggestions has anybody done this??? what problems am i likely to run into??? help me out
