Help!!! I think my starter is out.

Fellow enthusiasts,
For the past week my car has had problems starting. But as of today it does not want to start. I turn on the ignition and nothing... the battery is fine (charge, cables & connections), alternator is brand new. The only way the car would kick over is when I push start it. On the drive home I attempted to crank the engine (with the starter) while the car was idling at a stop sign and again no response from the starter? Can someone tell me what is going on... is it the starter, starter solenoid, relays... or even the infamous transmission ground? Thanks for all the help guys.

sounds to me like its just the starter. Mine is beggining to break down also, sometimes it wont start from the first attempt :uhoh:
