I used real tint on the windows, 70% net on the rear windows, 35% net on the front. I did a Gold wash on the grille, that the photos does no justice to. I blacked out the front lights with 35% net tint also.
The wheels are from Pegasus, 19" Gold DZ's.
Body paint was Testors #1631 Purple Metal Flake. Detailing colors were all Testors, 1531 Purple Metal Flake, 1144 Gold Or, 1146 Silver Argent, 1147 Gloss Black and 1149 Flat Black.
I used Tamiya compound and wax for the finishing touches.
About 180 Hours on this kit. I detailed every part that I could. I made a few mistakes, even broke a part or two. All and all, I would give myself a B-. I have MUCH to learn still but it was fun and I cannot wait to get cracking on 'Missy', an AMT/ETRL Edsel Pacer.
