well my 92 sable was involved in a crash, it is now totalled, and i was my fault, i was taking a 15mph turn at 35mph , it was steep and had very curvy, it basically was a 90degree turn with that goes down hill.. i started to slow down at the begging of the turn to 35 as i got into the turn i saw that the car was sliding b\c in ny the roads were wet and icy, is i got scared when i seen the gaurd rails comming close so i slamed on the brakes and tried to turn away but that is where i messed up, i end up hitting the rail dead on, the whole front of the car is totaled, the air bag came out and everything, to add too that i had my sister in the car, we are bout ok no injuries but the car is goen, i feel wores then when my grandmother died, i felt as if i have lost a close friend, i been with that car for 10 years now, im so mad at my self for what happened, but the only reason i took that turn at those speeds was b\c earier in the morning i took it at 45mph but the roads were dry.. so i guess the weather made it worse..
well now i have no car to drive around, i fell bad that i totaled a car, it wsa nuthing special, no turbo, no 15psi, no 8.5:1 compressoin, jus a stock 92 sable.. but to me it was a good car, i raced my first races in it, i learned my driving skill from it, i had fun in it, had many girls in it too.. lolz but now its gone, and i feel like garbage, i didnt think that i would get so attached to a material object, but in a way i felt like i lost a part of my self...
on a briter side to the story, since the sable is totaled, me and my dad need a new car, and my cuz jus happens to have a 91 TURBO probe sitting around, so it looks like were getting that, ummm turbo.. hehe well i dont have the sn TURBO2NR for nuthin.. one door closes and another opens.. i just taught i would share my expereince with ya'll and get some advice and how i should feel and if im feelin the rite way.. the lesson learned is not to speed, in wet or dry weather, and if you do be very very careful b\c u can hurt others and yourself..

oh shit andrew sucks for you man. well you gotta learn the lesson the hard way eh? well yesturday was maaaad icey. the whole road was black ice. coming back home from school i saw atleast 7 accidents. well now you know. i mean hell when i was driving home, i was goin 35 in 4th so i don't brake traction. and it sounds to me that you understeered. heres a tip. before a turn comes up, brake gentlely waaay before the turn, then turn the wheel gently, and keep it steady then just let the car glide thru the turn without gasing as much as possible. heh i'm considered lucky. cusae when i first got my car i got into alot of close calls. but now i learned i hvaen't crashed at all, in the rain or in the snow.

Often, the only way to learn in life is to make the mistake yourself. Hopefully you HAVE learned a lesson and you will become a better driver. Thankfully, you are both OK. Good luck on the new project and keep the fast driving for when it is safe.

hey thankz all, black ice sucks, i have definatly learned my lesson now. now more driving fast when it is wet or even dry, only if i know it is safe.
hopefully i wont have to learn the hard way any more. btw the car cant be fixed to body guys looked at it and they were like it will take at least 2g to fix all the damage, and still the motor intrenals might be seized up b\c of the accident so i looks like its gona be written off as totaled.. i still feel really bad..
thankz again all

"Slow in, fast out."
Glad you're safe and that it taught you a lesson. So how about that new car?
