uh...i...won?...

today in the morning i was driving with my dad on my way to school in a 1993 lincoln continental (auto) we were testing it because we been working on this car for a while now. so anyways we were going down the street and i see this dark green integra (manual it seemed) with some 17'' rims and a new muffler other than that it looked pretty stock but i couldnt tell witch type was it cus the badges were cut off, but i keep on driving on the speed limit and he passes us by doing around 40-45 mph (not bad) but i just mind my own buisness and keep my eyes on the road. but when i arrived at the stop light i see him waiting for the light, so i sit next to him and sort of view his car but not turning my head completely but then he starts to rev his engine, so my dad just starts to smile and so do i, and then my dad tells me to rev it a lil just for the fun and laughs. so i do and so does he but in my mind i had no thought in racing this guy because i am driving a 1993 continental!! but then my dad tells me when the light turns green just floor it a lil to show him that this old car has atleast some spunk :icon16: i just look at him and nod, but we all know theres no chance in hell i could of win against this car . but then all of sudden the light turns green and im off! and of course he launches better then me and keeps going (2-3 cars) but while im still "trying" to acc lol. but down the street i see his muff let this huge blackish smoke out! i was like oh shit! and thats when i see him slowing down but i keep going and while i pass him i look at him and he seemed very piss, i wanted to stop but i couldnt cus another tardy and saturday school for me :banghead: but what happened to this guy? i dont know but the car looked bad! and yea i reached the other point before him :biggrin: but i never saw him again.

Usually, if these dorks have the badges off of their car, it means that it's actually the slow one. He probably hit his rev-limiter one too many times that day and munched a valve.

wow yeah i think you might have something there Bunta. it is prolly the cheapest integra and he prolly did a bit too much racing. thats what you get though when you just randomly try challenging people which he'd prolly been doing all day lol

this is similar to what happen to me on a roll with a integra at 70mph we took of and he just stalled to the point were other cars were swerving around him trying not to crash, i think he shifted to a horrible wrong gear and blew something.

and also the guy looked around my age 16-17 so i wont bash on his age :)
