First oil change

I'm close to my first oil change on my 2003 1.8 turbo. I've always done my own and want to continue, but... I've read about dealers trying to weasel out on honoring the warranties if you have a claim. What suggestions can you give me?

Your car should have completely free sevice for 2 years. Use it! Free labor and oil/filter. Also the panel accross the bottom of the engine makes the change a lot harder. jim
