Well, I managed to find a hood, put on my suspension and wheels, and the car is coming together. I plan on repainting it this summer, back to its original white, maybe some pearl variation, but definitely white. I'm also going to mold in the trim on the sides and doors, and cut back out the doorhandles. Any comments are appreciated as long as their positive. :iceslolan

Here are a couple of pics...

Looking good. A little body work up front would help, but time and money are a bitch to find.

Yeah, I'm getting new hinges and fenders. They are pinching pretty badly. I'm also making a CF hood to replace the current mismatched one from the wrecking yard.

The mod list goes something like this:
The wheels are 16's, made by RSA Lightwheel, they're a house brand from Discount Tires, but they're pretty light.
-Nitto NeoGen's
-Progress 1.7" drop springs
-KYB AGX shocks
-Front upper and rear lower strut supports
-D16Z6 motor
-Konig Intake
-DC Sports 4-2-1 header
-Tenzo Axle back exhaust
-PG7 ECU
-89 Si Seats
-Vader front bumper
-Soon to have a Field AFC-VTEC

I do like the charcoal color, but when it was painted, they did it at Maaco or something, and didn't do a good job, plus they just did the outside, not the doorjambs or any of the trim, so it's nasty when you open a door or something.

I'm also getting rid of the front bumper, I'm trading it to a guy for an EDM SiR front end, which I think will look cool... For now, I'm happy that it drives!!

Sounds like a plan. I would never trust Maaco, though. $189 paint job? Unfortunately, you get what you pay for.

Maaco does do good work, IF you prep the car. Our cars that we send over, get a good 2-3 hours prep timebefore we send them over. We also supply the paint to be used. They then primer, spray, and clear coat. But, if you just take your car down and say "paint it", yeah, it is a bad deal. :)

Your car looks pretty good josh. Still looking for turbo parts? The kid that bought my hatch, was building a d series turbo kit, but now he doesnt need it. :)

Thanks Kris, I think I'm still going turbo, but I keep getting flashes of indecision... you know me...

I actually plan on painting the car myself, since I now have a sprayer and a friend who is experienced and even knows how to do pearls and stuff... I hope to have it looking respectable by the end of the summer, and then think more about boost or other FI.
